2nd Annual Miami New Construction Show For Buyers And Investors Comes To A Close

MIAMI – The 2nd Annual Miami New Construction Show completed its four-day luxury condo expo Sunday, Oct. 25 with thousands of visitors descending on the Miami Beach Convention Center to view some of the most progressive and innovative projects in the nation.

“I would like to thank all of our exhibitors, sponsors and esteemed panelists and keynoters for making our 2nd annual show an amazing success,” said Anita Funtek, founder and CEO of the Miami New Construction Show. “The positive feedback we’ve received from both visitors and participants has inspired us to launch our 3rd annual expo next year.”

In addition to showcasing new developer projects and service providers from across South Florida, the 2015 show offered dozens of well-attended panel discussions and education sessions including “Game Changing Projects in the South Florida Pipeline,” the future of the marketplace and how real estate booms of the past have influenced the region’s present-day growth. Miami historian, author and professor Paul George presented the opening day keynote.

Top public and private sector presenters were featured in panel discussions including Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado, Florida Secretary of Commerce Bill Johnson and a wide array of leading developers and real estate brokers. Main Stage presentations on the exhibition hall’s ground floor featured some of the most prominent real estate brokers and developers who are helping to shape today’s luxury market.

The morning session on Friday, Oct. 23, “Power Broker Straight Talk,” focused its conversation on current South Florida condo market trends and the brokers’ views of the short- to intermediate-term future. The session was followed by a keynote presentation from Matthew Haggman, Miami Program Director of the Knight Foundation.
